Welcome to the Costa Blanca People! This is the paper dedicated to you; the residents of the local communities that make up the region. Following our recent survey, we have listened to what information you, our readers, like and need - what stories you enjoy to peruse, what subjects you are interested in and basically what you think makes a damn good read. So, the Costa Blanca People really is the newspaper designed by the people for the people – and each week we will continue to bring you the perfect mix of national articles, informative features, interesting events, local stories and community news.
In recent years, the Costa Blanca People has been redesigned with the needs of the modern day local community in mind. Since the original paper was launched in 2004 the expat communities of the Costa Blanca have changed, evolved and blossomed and we needed to do exactly the same. Nowadays, we ‘the Costa Blanca People’ is a leading and innovative media provider with a physical and virtual presence. We support local people by championing their causes; we fight, highlight and lobby on behalf of the people of the Costa Blanca. We raise awareness of everything from personal injustice, new local facilities and con-artist scams to political change and community service improvements. We actively promote the achievements of local people and businesses through award schemes such as The Pride of Spain Awards, The Culinary Awards and The Health & Beauty Awards. We also unite with local residents on all charity promotion and fundraising, something that is as close to our hearts as it is to the hearts of many of our readers.

We are proud of what we do and proud to serve the local community.
